Ok, not sure about the engine but the tire thing my friend had that happen (his is mounted on the carrier on the back and I am assuming yours is also). Him and I are going to put the sparetire on the roof rack after our other mods are done. For now though he went to the hardware store and bought a piece of thick rubber and put it were the rattle was coming from his was coming from behind the tire were it sets close to the body and with some duct tape he taped the rubber around the part of the bar that had the rattle. Be careful so youdon'tscratch the body I think he put a towel around it. (Rattle is gone) He also tightened the mounts and the point that allows it to swing out. There are some other guys on here that would probably be able to tell you more about the racks.

Welcome to the forum! You say the truck 'runs kinda weak'. Can you elaborate on this? If it's bothering you, maybe somebody here can help, but we would need more info.

ok its got 108,000miles looks like the motor has a new waterpump, but thats about all.. it just feels weak, i had a 90model s10 2wd that was a hoss, real fast and good torque.. this jsut dont feel like it maybe case it is 4wd and alot heavier.... also the blazer spark knocks while going up a hill or under load,,,

how hard to change plugs, do you got to take stuff off to get to them..

where is the fuel filter on these... anywhere to download a manual free.. thanks..

Tune -up will help a bunch.
New plugs, wires, cap & rotor, air filter, fuel filter, pvc, and you already did the oil change.

The plugs are pretty easy to change, except #3, the steering shaft can get in teh way. The easiest way to change plugs on teh drivers side is through the fender well. Passengers side you should be able to get at from under the hood.

Check with Autozone for an on-line catalog, however they sell a Hanyes manual in the store for like $15, and worth every penny if your new to auto repair and willing to do the repairs yourself.

Since yu found this forum, keep posting up your questions and we can help you out. REalize it may take a day or so to get an answer. Most of us have lives, and check the site when we can. Like now, during lunch.

Welcome to the site. [sm=welcomesign.gif]
