'98 Blazer LS Ignition Lock Cylinder Housing Help
New to the forum here so go easy on me lol..
Got a '98 LS i have owned for about a month or so (i'll post pics soon) 1 owner with 120k on the clock ( I just broke 122k).
In a nutshell, after installing a new radio, putting all the panels back together, my key got stuck locked in accesory in the igntion...
Now believe me i have already try every trick in the book to get the key out and finally got the key out..and it wasnt so pleasant...
Long story short I bought a new lock cylinder and as of today i am waiting on the lock cylinder housing to come in (from CARID)...
Has anyone had this problem before or experienced in replacing this particular part? And if so, what steps should be taken to swap out the old one? I'm a DIYer so i would rather not take it to the shop (as i am sure most of you are too)..
Any advice would be much appreciated..Thanks!

Welcome to the forums, this said at the front page was some pretty good info to start. This page- https://blazerforum.com/forum/tech-a...e-first-30093/ As you can see under the electrical header are 2 different entry’s for the ignition. The second one should have pretty much everything you need to know.
