Default 98 blazer power locks blowing fuses and not working

Hi, I have a 98 4dr blazer and the power door locks aren't working properly. Yesterday I went to unlock the doors using the power lock and nothing happened, so today we checked and the fuse was blown so we replaced it and the locks start working but then not even a minute later the new fuse blows. (now I can't lock the passengers side door manualy).
Any Ideas??

There are also a few other problems that we have had since we bought it,
*the rear wiper doesn't work, you can hear a noise when pressing the button but nothing happens.
*the little lights on the 4x4 buttons only work sometimes.
*and befor today the power mirrors didn't work at all now the drivers side kind of works, it moves up an down but not side to side.
any ideas on these problems would be great too
thanks

You seem to have a lot of electrical connection problems... was this vehicle ever in a flood? As far as the locks are concerned, disconnect all the door lock solenoids and then try reconnecting them one at a time until you can find a fault in the circuit. The outside mirrors will have to be replaced in order to work correctly. Does the 4x4 work in all ranges? Sounds like the button cluster on the dash may need to be replaced. Not sure about the rear wiper... maybe a bad motor.

Get a look at the back of the fuse box where all the wires terminate into it... if the connections are all coroded and/or rusty looking then it could have been sumerged. Either way, it's yours now but at least you will some kind of idea what you are up against. I had a 78 silverado that was sunk to the roof during an off road adventure, took me weeks to clean it all out and even then I would notice little things that I missed.
