So I took my blazer out with a buddy and we went in search of Mud...

we went down a couple short trails that offered no real resistance, and there were a few muddy spots... I would throw mud everywhere... pretty much just having the best time I could...

Well it was all fun... nothing to bad... then I get home and realize the service engine light is on....

Local shop wants 70 bucks to check the code... and I was told that I can stop by autozone and get the code? ideas.. help... Truck runs fine... no rough idle... no sputters... oil pressure is fine...

Also.. my mudflaps decided not to let me get my truck to dirty... so I went through some mud in 2hi and didnt get too much water to splash... and i put it in 4hi and ran through again... and simply cut through even faster with less water tossing.....

 

AutoZone will check your codes for FREE & give you a print out.

 

Lots of parts stores will do this for you for FREE! Unless you live far from civilization, I would never pay to have a code pulled.
