Default ABS Light and how to get rid of it forever, Without using Black Tape

I was over my friend George's house I pull up and he's has the instrument cluster out so I go into the garage and I'm like what's up?

He said he is tired of the F'ing ABS light being on, he put new timken hubs on and a re manufactured ABS module on like 5 months ago then like a month ago the light goes on.

He say's he tried out the ABS system and it works but the light pisses him off.

He showed me the LED he unsoldered showed it where it was.

All you have to do is separate the Electronics board from the cluster, it just pulls out with minimal pulling, it's held in there by the pins for the gauges.

He made sure he got the right LED and unsolder ed it.

put it back together and installed the cluster, put everything back together and no (In his own words: No more F'ing ABS annoying light!!!!!!!!)

I was pulling up when he was putting the cluster together but he told me he only spent 1/2 on it, that is pulling the cluster and soldering the LED.

His is a 2000 Blazer LT, I don't know if the same holds true for 95 to 2005.

I just figured to pass the info on.

He said he 's tired of changing the hubs every 2 years and now it was less so he was so frustrated, I told him (he already knew what I was going to say) to check the sensors.

He told me he's had enough of that stuff and buying Good hubs not cheapish and still having problems with the sensors.

And that is what he has a problem with the right sensor intermittent like every other time, he had the dealer scan it last week.

He claims the ABS still works.

He has had a lot of blazers in the 80's and 90's like he said none of them had ABS.
