AC Pulley Question..Please...
I just replaced my air comressor and pulley in my 2003 Blazer with a used one from a friends truck.I noticed mine did not have a nut on the front of the pulley..The one from his truck is also missing the nut on the front of the pulley..
Can anyone please tell me the size of the nut that goes on there? I was told by the guy at advanced autozone that it looks to be a thin nut that goes on there..However he could not tell me size of thread count...
Appreciate any help possible..Thanks

I will have a look at mine tomorrow just to make sure. But if I remember correctly there is not supposed to be a nut there. The clutch itself is a pressed fit and the threads are there for the tools used to remove and install the compressor clutch.
If you happen to be in the parts store again, ask to look at one of the A/C compressors they have on the shelf for your blazer and see if it has a nut on it.

thanks ChuckNTruck..
The guy at advanced autozone took one out from the back it did have a nut on it. However there was not enough room on threaded part for him to use a gauge on it to tell me thread count and if it was course or fine thread..
He said he could not remove the bolt as it will mark up the part and then it cant be sold as new..I though wth but was not about to make an issue. I figured someone on the forum may have an answer and it would be easier getting knowledge from another blazer owner.
Thanks I appreciate it.
