ahh Thermostat replacement help!

Default ahh Thermostat replacement help!

Ok so i have 99 blazer thats been close to overheating. So ive decided to change the thermostat..shop tried to charge me like 100 bucks. so i wanted to do it myself but im having trouble actually finding the thermostat in my car

can anyone send me a picture to help me?

Follow the upper radiator hose. It'll be located in front of the throttle body between the EGR valve and the A/C compressor.

Im running too cold. Ran test to confirm thermostat. Im a first timer, any more advice on changing the thermostat on a 04 ZR2 Blazer? Will basic tools and common sense get me buy?

They should. Changing a thermo is pretty much changing a thermo.

ima look tmrw but if anyone can get a picture plz post and yes theivesss trying to get me to pay 88 bucks in labor and 20 for thermo...i got my thermo for 8 lol

yah it just two bolts holding down the black metal tube over the thermo. Like swartlkk said if you follow the upper radiator hose you cant miss it, to the left of the ac compressor.

That was more then likely the easist thing I have done my 2000 4x4 LT Blazer. Just make sure you have a 9mm socket or wrench. I think its 9mm or 7mm, at 62 one mind starts going.hahahahahahaha....
Now changing that Fan Clutch, Now that was a different story..Mind runs perect Temp wise now. Two Rad hoses, (upper and lower) one Radiator, one Thermo (195 deg), and one Fan Clutch, oh, and new anti-freeze (green stuff). poof..no more over heating or under heating.
