Default Air and water coming though top of drivers door

Hi everyone. I have an issue with my drivers side door. When I am driving I get a substantial amount of air noise coming through the top of the door. It's extremly loud. Also if I go to a car wash or use my wipers with the fluid I get the liquid coming throught the top of the door. When I look straight up at the top of the door I can see a tiny bite of room. It appears that the door is not closing properly. Sometimes when I close the door it will not close all the way. I have to open it and reclose it. Have any of you had this issue? I searched for the topic and found one sort of similar but not quite. Please Help!!! Thanks

The first thing to check would be your weather stripping. The next thing would be your door hinge pins. If those are in good shape, then I would suspect that your door has been tweaked at some point. It is possible to build up the weather stripping with some butyl rubber behind the main portion of the weather stripping to push it out further in these areas. The other option would be to tweak the window frame by hand to bring it closer into the body of the truck (takes finesse).

It is most likely door hinge pins as long as the weatherstripping isnt completely gone. You can find them oem on ebay pretty cheap.

here is the quick way to tell if your door pins are going bad. open your door all the way. then roll down your window. put both hands at the top of the door (where window goes into the top, and lift. if your door moves up and down, you need new pins (actually, it is the bushings that go bad.
Thanks guys, I tried this little trick I found in another thread. It's definatly my hinge pins. They are a mess. I just bout a pair off Ebay and I'm gonna attempt to put them in. Wish me luck. Looks like a heck of a job.
