Default Automatic locks stop working????

The other day I pressed the rear hatch release button for my buddy to get something out of the back. I pressed it twice (no big deal). Now i cannot get my power locks to work??? i check the fuse and it looked fine... not sure what else to do? any suggestions? thanks in advance.

Default RE: Automatic locks stop working????

OMG, Here i am looking for a fix and find that someone had the same thing happen today with their truck as did with mine.

I have a 98 Blazer LS.

I have checked my fuses and they seem fine. I can manually lock my doors (except the tailgate) but had to push the dome override button because the interior lights are staying on.

Does anyone know if there is a relay under the dash or hood that I can check or is the problem within the actuator in the tailgate?

There has been an incredible amount of dampness the past two days so I am also wondering if I should just spray some WD40 down inside the tailgate and see if it will help to disperse any moisture there and alleviate the problem. (I doubt it will help but what the heck eh?)
