Default Axle nut torque

Anyone know what the torque specs are for the front axle nut? Also the bolts for the front wheel bearing?

I believe it is posted in the front wheel bearing replacement How-To found in the Tech Article (DIY) section.

Searched for "axle nut torque" and found it. For your convenience, it is 103ftlbs (130Nm).

Straight from my 1997 Factory Service Manual - 103FTLBS (130Nm)

I assumed it would be the same for 1996... I'll have to check that out.

You are correct. I have a 1997 and 2000 FSM... Figured that 1996 would be the same as 1997...

95-96 = 133ftlbs (180Nm)
97+ = 103ftlbs (140Nm)
