Default ball joints and bushings problem

Hi, my nameis German and I live in Chile,I have a 2001, 2 doors, LS, AT, v6 4.3 Chevy Blazer and im worried cause im having serious problems with loosing ball joints, upper and lower and bushings. FirstI went to my dealer andI had to bought the 4 jointballs, 6 months later,I had to buy new ones,, now, 4 month later the same problems. I have bougth alwaysoriginal pieces, but they doesn't pass the 5.000 miles. I drive in tarmac mostly and sometines a bit of slow-sotf off road. I have Konishocks, very hard.....is that maibe the problem? some mechanics had told me that the Koni shock are too hard, and the ball joints are absorbing all the force, but some others had told me that the Koni are good cause the wheel doesn't prevents vibration on off road....

But what they all tell me is that Blazersare very heavy and they always have this front problems...

What can i do? i want to change ball jointsnext week... is there any tip? other brand? canI use other ones, maybe more hard Ball J? maybe Trail, silverado, are the same? shouldI put the Koni in mid absorbing? anything else is standar, no body kit, stock wheels and tires. i have 70.000 miles, and since the first change of balljoints at 60.000 im having troubles...

Thanx and greetings from Chile.

if any of the other front end components in the steering linkage, like idler and pitman arms, control arms, etc are bent or broken then it could lead to other problems.

It is very unusual for ball joints to last only 5,000 miles. You can get aftermarket ball joints from Moog and make sure they are greased every 3 or 4 tthousand miles.

I agree as well, that is quite fast for any balljoints... And I fully agree on the Moog ball joints. A crucial part of this whole thing is to keep them greased!

And I don't think that is anything but lite surface rust, if that. Almost looks like it might just be dust.
