Battery keeps draining
Sometimes when i go to turn the key to turn on my blazer (2002) the battery is drained. after a few attempts the battery drains completely. I just put a new battery, alternator, new positive and new negative cables, replaced fuel filter, spark plugs. any advice would be nice. thank you

Short circuit or malfunctioning device. Do you have any aftermarket electrical equipment? If so, start there.
The current draw should not exceed 35mA after 5-10 minutes. This should allow sufficient time for all of the factory modules to enter their lowest power state (sleep mode if you will). If it does, you need to drop down to the fuse level, testing the amp draw across each fuse. Find any one fuse exceeding the 35mA draw after waiting 5-10 minutes and that circuit has a problem.

My battery says it has 11.52volts. After about five to ten attempts to start my car the battery is completely drained. removed the power fuse for the radio I put in. Ill try it out tomorow more and let you know

My car won't even start when I try to jump it. is it possible that my blazer keeps killing the batteries I keep putting in? the last battery had zero cold crank amps when i turned it in on warrenty. I bought my battery and alternator at Kragen. It seems like their parts are fake or something

You won't really know unless you get out your tester and look at it.

What setting would I have to put my voltmeter on to measure mA?

Well, if it is truly just a voltmeter, you do not have a setting for Amperage. If it is a multi-meter, then it should have an amperage option and have either straight amps or mA options.
I use the Fluke 88 series V multimeter and the setting is at the 2 o'clock position.
