Blazer Leaking Antifreeze From Under Motor Mount
My blazer starting losing antifreeze yesterday. I noticed this morning when I was filling it back up that antifreeze was dripping from right above the driver side motor mount. Right behind the motor mount, there's a hole where it looks like a large washer is being held on with a bolt. What is that and why would it be leaking. Cross my fingers it's something simple....

the only thing i could possibly think of off hand would be what your looking at is your freeze plug...that could be leaking antifreeze..other than that you a prolly looking @ a headgasket..or crack in block(WORST CASE SCENARIO)

wait if you see what looks like a large washer with a nut on it ,, it sounds like the orig frreze out plug had gone bad once b4 and someone replaced it with one of the rubber ones that you tighten and it expands... its prob rotted out and needs to be replaced again... Are you the orig owner?? if not the orig owner prob had it replaced..

RE: Blazer Leaking Antifreeze From Under Motor Mount
Thanks guys! I'm not the original owner of the Blazer. I checked with AZ and one of the reps showed me what was probably the problem - the rubber core plug. Hah, had never even seen one of those before. So I got a 1/2 inch wrench and checked it. It was pretty loose feeling. I tightened it up and so far no more leaking. Appreciate the heads up on the rubber core plugs though!
