broken fuel line at sending unit need repair .
i have a 96 blazer 4x4 2 dr 4.3 vin w.
my son was replacing the fuel pump and he had the tank drop off the jack with the fuel lines connected, all the fuel line plastic connections broke. 2 lines broke the sending unit, no big deal unit was being replaced anyway, but the return line snapped at the elbow connection to the sending unit. i have been calling junk yards but from what they tell me i am gonna have a hard time finding this line, due to being a 2dr 4x4 vin w. i guess other models have different lenghts.its only about 2 ft long and all plastic to the metal tube fwd of the tank. my son did find a tube that was shorter at a junk yard, that we can try splicing together. has anyone out ther repaired these lines or know of a good safe repair? the dealer wants $120.00 for a new line that runs all the way to the front, he said they dont just sell the plastic 2 ft long line, only sell it as an assy, and a 4 day wait due having to be shipped from michigan..
any help would be grat and have a happy new year

my son has the part in my suburban and i havent been able to figure out how to do pics yet, in fact i was just reading up and trying it. still cant get it to work though. wow parma ohio, i lived there for a couple yrs, broadview hts & north royalton... tooo darn cold, live in texas now. in fact that is where i bought this blazer, in berea, almost 8 yrs ago..lol..
all i can do is put a big red x when i use the add image from photobucket or a link to the entire photobucket album

dunno how to do this yet, but these pics where from x mas day , my son sunk his k10..lol.. in the back pasture.
it took an f350 chained to a treewith a winch to yank him out, it blew the front tire out on the drivers side
