ignition
Good morning,
Well I got the help I needed here before so I am back again. I have a 2001 Blazer, last night about midnight when I came out from work i got in the blazer put the key in and it won't come out of the lock position. I t won't turn at all. Does this mean I will have to haxe a new ignition put in. There is a dealership right down the road that I can have it towed to but waas wondering if anyone had any ideas. I HATE GOING TO THE DEALERSHIP!
Any input would be apprecciated
Thanks
Suz

RE: ignition
Did you try wiggling the steering wheel? I have seen where sometimes the steering is bound up when you've turned the vehicle off and the steering pin in the column has resistance on it. Pulling on the steering wheel will aleviate the resistance and should allow you to turn the key.
Can you turn it backwards into the ACC position?
