A/C compressor question
Haven't got a problem - just curious about something.
Was doing my weekly underhood checks today & I noticed that there is a small electrical plug that goes into the back of the compressor near the bottom. Have never noticed it before but I am curious as to what it's for? I thought the only connector on an a/c compressor was the clutch coil on the front. Any ideas would satisfy my curiosity. I know it's not the cycling switch as that's on the receiver/dryer. There is no mention of it in my Haynes manual - but then again, the Haynes manual is pretty sketchy at the best of times.
