Charcoal Canister prob/ Won't start
Apologies if this has been covered, but I searched extensively before posting.
2000 Bravada, AWD auto, 177k mi.
I replaced my leaf spring shackles today, and in so doing, I removed the charcoal canister to better access the shackle bolts. When I was done, I reconnected everything exactly as it had been, but now the engine will not start, as though it is getting no fuel. I'm utterly baffled about what could be wrong here, someone please give me a clue.

I doubt messing with the charcoal cannister would cause a no start. Might give you an evap code, but the truck will run fine.
Is it possible you might have accidentally messed up the fuel pump wiring while you were under there?
Also, why do you suspect it's not getting fuel? Check spark, check fuel pressure.

After letting it sit while the battery recharged after to many aggressive cranking attempts, I tried starting it with the purge solenoid unplugged, it cranked up, and seemed to be running rich. I plugged in the solenoid, and it was running great in about a minute. I don't know if there was an issue with the EVAP, if it just needed a ECU reset, or if the ghost of Ransom Olds just smiled upon me today. But now all is well.
