I own a 2000 blazer 4.3V 4x4. I had to replace my intake manifold gaskest. When i tore it down i deciced to give it a full tuneup and clean the manifold and plenum. All new gaskets and seals. when i was finished it cranked normal and then just clicked no crank replaced the starter autozone did test it. Fail of course put new one in same problem this time it only cranked for 3 sec. before it just clicked. Looking for advise. New member this site is a very nice find. Volts on battery was 11.8, but did not have cranking amps. Replaced battery. Now it cranks fine and will not start.

When I started the project I set TDC and marked the rotor to the distributer. I fixed my problem by turning the distributer 30 degrees clockwise, On the second time it fired right up.
