coolant flush with flush kit
Ok im going to use the prestone coolant flush kit and you have to cut the tee into the heater line to connect the hose to. What is the best way to cut that tee into the heater line?

I used a utility knife...but any finely sharpened object will work. It's just rubber hose. You'll need to either cut off or push back the braided hose sheathing to get to the hose. Also, you might need to actually cut a section of the hose off (preferably on the side of the cut away from the engine) because the T-piece adds about an inch to the hose, which is pretty tough to fit in-line due to the plastic clip holding the two hoses to the engine.
Then you make sure to get the T in the hoses as far as they'll go, and tighten up the hose clamps.

Thanks. One more question what are the benefits to a safety cap vs the regularcap?
