Unbolts and pulls out, should look like this: Buy Delphi Crankshaft Position Sensor SS10125 at Advance Auto Parts

After replacement, the crankshaft position sensor relearn MUST be performed with a capable scan tool. The engine should start and run, but it will not run properly until the relearn is performed.

The crankshaft position sensor relearn can only be performed with a (high end) capable scan tool. Any GM dealer can do it, and some independent shops can do it. You'll need to call around and see who has a scan tool capable of initiating the relearn, and is familiar with how to perform it. Labor charge should be less than 1 hour.
