Did the ZR2 Blazer suffer from frame cracks too?
In doing research I've read about frame cracks in the ZR2 (around the front control arm points) but it seems like every story I've read about it was in the pickups. Just wondering if the Blazers had it as well?

Blazers are prone to the frame cracks same as the trucks.
What you might not have found is that those cracks are found on ZR2's that were used in ways the should have never been used. As in jumping, hitting bumps/rocks/holes at high speed, basically anything getting the front tires off the ground and then coming back down on the hard.
I've spent many miles over the years in some nasty places and check my frame routinely. I've never done any of the above, though. High speed and offroading is not what the ZR2's were made for.

When you refer to 'the trucks', I assume you are referring to the S-10 Pick Up trucks. This is first time I have heard of a frame problem with either the S-10 Blazer or S-10 Pick Up trucks. I have been reading about the problem in the Salt Belt area with Toyota Tacoma pick up trucks having cracked frames due to rust. As an owner of a 2 door 2003 Blazer( not a ZR2), you have my attention. I wonder why there would be a problem with the 2 door and not the 4 door Blazer? Is it the extreme Off Roading the 2 door is more likely to be subjected.
