Does this intake look like the spider is leaking to you? Only one bank is black and the others seem to be, Washed out,? Not sure if its supposed to look this way or the spider is possibly leaking.

Long story short my 98 Blazer 210k decided that it was time to have a few things go at once. Yea she made it thus far so ill give her a break. Pissing antifreeze between intake and heads along with p0300, along with a whole lotta misfiring while driving. All at the same time!

I think I have found the cause of the p0300 but this intake is bugging me with what appears to be washed out areas. So whadda ya think guys n gals? Time for a new spider assy?

Looking at it, is like looking at bathwater: you can't tell if it's good unless you test it Check fuel pressure and leakdown.

Fuel pressure was 62 Key on, dropping to 60 right away. After 10 mins with key on it was at 53, about 15 mins after that it went down to 31.

Key on, engine off, fuel pump running, pressure should be 60psi to 66psi. Your reading of 62psi is acceptable. 10 minutes after the pump shuts off, pressure should remain above 55psi. Your leakdown reading of 53psi is slightly low. The test does not tell where the leak is, only that a slight leak exists. To determine where the leak is requires testing maximum pump output pressure and leakdown at the pump. The easiest way to do that is at the fuel filter. The tester will need to be modified to connect directly to the line, (or fuel filter). All fuel flow and pressure must end at the tester. Cycle the pump on and the pressure must be 73psi to 108psi. It must remain above 55psi for at least 10 minutes after the pump shuts off. The results of this test will tell if the leak is in the tank, or inside the plenum.
