If you figure out how to activate this feature let me know. I would like to give it a shot on my '00 LT.

Programming this feature is right in your user's manual for the blazer. Someone posted it on this site before, in case you don't have the manual. See here.

Ah, but I'm not sure that the programming is the same for the '98-'01 models though... It doesn't come up in a '00 owners manual anyway. Need to have someone with a '98+ test this out.

Thank you so much! I haven't got out to try it yet but my owners manual (well the gmlink one for a 2001) shows the same steps!

I would think it would work for all of them...it said in the owners manual that all of them come from the factory with auto locks that never lock like mine were. If you have a mygmlink just search for automatic door lock in the owners manual.

Checked a 98 Blazer manual and the manual for my old 2000 Bravada earlier today, but no dice...

Seems this may be an '01+ only thing with the user-programmable thing. Someone needs to try it out with a 2000 or earlier model.

I did with my 2000 using the orginal post by riddle3 (linked to in this thread) and it didn't work. Tried 2 or 3 times and nothing...
