I downloaded the 2001 user manual and it clearly states that it should work on my car too. I call my dealer sometime this week. See if he knows!

Well then it should work. Must have read things incorrectly on the 2002 thing. I know it did not work on my 2000. Are you sure you did it correctly by pulling the turn signal stalk towards you like you are turning on your high beams and not like you are turning on your turn signals?

is no one else having this problem. It is really annoying that the locks dont close automatically, because I have dogs and a baby in the car and like the doors to be locked during driving.

please advise.

Guess the trip to the dealer must be out of the question... Options differ based on trim level. Your truck may not have this as a user modifiable option.

during service on my Blazer the battery has been disconnected. And now the automatic door locks are back again. Don't know why, I am just glad it is!

Seeing as how thus thread has been dead for about 5 years now, I'm doubting I'll get much of a response in the way of help but here goes...

I own a 2000 Blazer LT 4 door 4WD and rolling locks is not active on my vehicle. I have tried the programming instructions posted here, several times, and I can verify that they do not work on pre-2001 Blazers.

I do however, currently have a GM Tech-II scanner in my possession and I can also tell you that rolling locks is not a programmable feature for my vehicle using the Tech-II.

The only options available in the BCM are "Program Key Fob" and "System Info"

Does anyone else have any other ideas on how to flash my BCM to enable this function? I have small children who really seem to get their rocks off by opening the door while I'm driving and I do not want to turn on the child locks because adults frequently sit in the back seat of my truck.

Please any help will be appreciated.

My 2002 Blazer LT has the auto lock once reverse is selected.
Also if I manually open the passenger door then drive off it re-lock at 15kmh.
