Default Early 4l60e and later 4l60e

I found a rebuilt trans for my 95 blazer 4x4. The thing is, I have the early 700r4 style 4l60e, the one for sale looks different (later style 4l60e). Will the later version work with my 95??

Thanks.

Default RE: Early 4l60e and later 4l60e

If by later you mean it has a 3 peice case with a removeable bellhousing, then no, you cannot use this. The reason is because the transmission itself is shorter than the one in your truck. Your driveshafts may not work properly with the different transmission. Plus you would have to have some way of covering the lower half of the bellhousing on the 3 peice case and even then you would have nothing to bolt the support arms to from the engine block to the transmission.
