HELP!!!

Default HELP!!!

went to start my car this morning and had nothing. didnt have time to figure it out, but had my dad look at it and he got it to start after getting in and then getting out again. any ideas of what could be making thing this happen? is there a loose wire somewhere?

For a start you can check the battery ground. Not where the ground connects to the battery, but where it gets its ground from. if you follow the ground (-) cable, it'll connected somewhere on the frame. clean up the ground cable and the frame where to ground hits. you can try that for a place to start and get the problem diagnosed.

ok, i just looked at my truck. my battery ground cable is actually connected to the engine block. easy to get at.

It could be anything basically. Does the engine turn over at all? When your dad got it to start, did you run it for long and use it afterwards to make sure it would start up again if you turned it off? Is it a daily driver?

it is my daily driver. i dont know what he did after he got it to start but it has worked fine since he got it to start. i will check the drong wire tomorrow morning and give my results... hopefully that is it
