Default Growling noise from rt.front wheel

I have a 2001 ZR2 and just replaced actuator switch on transfer case as at times when comming off highway onto ramp you would get a loud growling noise from rt. front wheel.I heard this noise before on other s-10 and and usually it would be the 4 wheel drive trying to pull in.Which would be the actuator switch.By the way it was a new actuator switch I replaced it with from Napa .I also replaced some vacum lines that were not in very good shape up by the enginethat go down to the actuator switch. It does not make this noise all the time either it seems to be just once in a while.

Thought I should give a little more input The fluids for transfer case and front diff are all ok and seems like when changed from 2 wheel to 4 wheel then back to 2 wheel drive the noise will quit if that is any help

gm has a lot of wheel bearing problems.. try turninging right and left when u hear the noise and see if it only does it when turning a certain direction that would indicate more than likley a wheel bearing usually at highway speeds.

I would suspect a wheel bearing as well. If it is the right side as you have suspected, then when you turn right, the noise should get better or go away. When you turn left, it may get worse.

BTW, there is no need to send PM's to get help. Anyone that can reply will do so when they get time. No extra prodding needed.
