Exclamation Hard to start on cold weather....

Good day everyone, I having an issue with my blazer 96 4.3, it's Taking a long time to start in the morning and when finally starts up it wants to die and surges upon acceleration. So far, I've change spark plugs cables and spark plugs, distribuitor cap and rotor, my mechanic checked the fuel pressure regulator and also the fuel inyectors for any leaks but he said that it's good meaning no leaks, he also checked for any codes and he just got oxygen sensors, any help will be really appreaciated, thanks.

Once it warms up the problem goes away then? Like running errands, turning the truck off and then restarting it with no problem?

Ask him to measure the fuel pressure too (howto in the sticky threads) O2 sensors are "suppressed" while engine is cold.

Go Chevy, sometimes once gets warm the problem goes away, once the truck finally starts if I turn it off and on it would start with no problem but if I want to start it after a few hours I will have the same issue.

Mike, he checked the fuel pressure yesterday and said that it has really good pressure 55_60 psi.

Maybe try pouring a bottle or 2 of SeaFoam injector cleaner in your gas tank...

If You run it cold, does it run rough? If You have the device for listing codes You may use it to post the fuel trims (LT/ST both banks) of a cold engine right when it starts. Then we could think of something out of this data.
On second thought please update readings with MAF, MAP, coolant temp.
