Default need some help

ok i jus bought a 96 blazer from my boss. i work as a mechanic and my boss is the owner so we kno alot about cars but cant figure this one out. it was running but the spider assy was leaking so he had another employee put that in, after that no start and no fuel pressure. diagnosed it as the pump, he had that put in. we got good psi now but still no start. so i ended up buying it from him for a heck of a price since he was tired of dealing with it. i got ta checkin everything and found out timing was off. so i got it up to tdc and also lined up the distributor and i kno everything is lined up right i did it about 5 times. well i still cant get it to start. its weird bc it has fuel, spark and compression so i cant figure out y it wont start. any ideas on wut is going on? like i said it ran fine until they put the spider assy in and hasnt ran since. i also have removed upper intake and there are no leaks from the injectors so that was installed correctly

What fuel pump is in there? Some aftermarket fuel pumps are total junk, and you may not be getting enough fuel to start.

okay i tinkered wit the blazer all day and got it started and drove it. it drove perfect. so i thought my problem was fixed. i took it around the block and came back ta work and parked it. when i went ta get in it ta go home it would just crank and crank. but when it cranks it will start to crank fine then it will just completely stop cranking like it lost battery connection. terminals good and tight tried a new battery but still the same. i dont kno if you all kno wut i mean by me sayin i think it is hydraulicing or not but that seems ta be wut it is doin. pretty much hydraulicing is when theres too much gas in the cylinders and the pistons cant compress fully. any ideas
