Default How to get to front of condenser on 03 Blzr

On my 2003 Blazer 2 door, I need to clean the area in front of the condenser. I removed the radiator shroud and that gives access behind the condenser & in front of radiator only. It looks like you need to remove the grille and maybe the radiator support. Please let me know the best and easiest access to this area. Can you get to it from underneath the vehicle?
The reason I need to get to this area is a pair of wrens built a nest in front of the condenser. Their access was the two slots in the chrome horizontal bar that runs across the grille. These two slots are under the bottom side so they are not visible from the front. You may not even know they were there. They are each just about the size of a hand. I am going to try to figure out how to block these slots from future Wrens home building. Yes, I left the SUV in the drive until the fledglings flew the grille.

I'm the OP. Maybe I should just ask: how to remove the grille so I can get to the front of the condenser. Does the radiator support have to be removed before you remove the grille? It would appear that you do.

just pull the grill off, that is it. It just snaps in. Just be careful once it is off since your turn signals are attached and there are wires going to them which you will need to disconnect.

Much easier if you remove both headlamps first. Two tabs on each assembly, pull them straight up, and the entire headlamp assembly falls out. Grille just pops out, no screws.

I haven't posted due to hot weather and a PC problem. I have found an A1 Auto Parts video that does show the SXS on how to remove the grille and replace it. You do need to remove the headlights and turn signals first as the Captain said. The headlights each have two tabs you pull up and they come out forward. Remove the light bulb harnesses. Then the grille is all held on by 14 clips. When I am able, I will post that site for those who want to see it. Jim

I don't know why it doesn't include the year 2005!? I did this yesterday in the heat. The short version is to open the hood and remove the headlights and unplug the elec. conn. to the bulbs. Then the turn signals which have only one clip. The grille on my 2003 had only 9 clips: 4 at the top and 5 on the bottom. Many of these clips are metal into plastic and are fragile. Be careful with them. Watch the video.
