Hello and Happy New Year to All. Thanks to previous replies to my posts. I purchased a 1996 4 dr auto blazer in Aug. with 77K. When I purchased thetruck it only came with the keys and no key fob. Did my truck come with keyless entry, If so how would I go about getting one and programming same. Also, I believe it did because there is a sticker in the engine compartment that states that the truck had at some point have an aftermarket remote starter installed. (unsure if it still does) I guess to get that working need to get programming also, if it is still installed. Thanks

 

first on the keyless entry, you are going to have to check your RPO codes in glovebox. Search on here and you will find how to decipher them.

Secondly, on the Remote start, look behind the drivers side knee bolster and look at the main ingnition haness for things tapped into it. if you find the brain for the remote start, post up the model number and I can give you the wiring info and help get you transmitters.
