I think the gauges are a common problem with Blazers...mine went on me and I just go by my trip meter to know when to get gas...

fuel could be alot of things. but the stalling could be a bad mass airflow sencer among other things. if your service engine soon light is on then take it to autozone or advanced to get it tested.

I have the same problem with my 2K Blazer and do the same as m00nwater, trip gauge to get gas. If that won't work for ya, then more then likely you have to replace the sending unit. It is located in the gas tank. Not a cheap endevor!!!! While your there, replace the fuel pump too.

As for the stalling, I would change the fuel filter first. If that fixes the problem then your golden, however if it doesn't then I would have the fuel pressure tested, although it could be any number of things. Sensor to tranny.

No kidding!!! I had to redo the tank and sending unit in my old Volvo...I know they're not cheap to beging with, but it was $200 for teh tank (at a discounted price), plus it was $500 for the sending unit!!! I ended up jimmying up a GM one and it worked fine, but still...$$$$$
