Question I need a tip or trick lol

Hey people.....New guy here. I've been driving a Blazer for about 15 years. This is my 3rd one lol. I'm glad to find this forum. I have a 2003 4Dr Blazer. I'm having power issues. I had the fuel pump checked and a pressure check....well..... Its the ole' cat is clogged syndrome. Is there anything that i can do to try and clean it out first without taking it off, and or, buying a new one? I saw some things on you tube about putting pure Lacquer thinner in the gas tank and letting it run for 1/2 hour to clean it out. is that safe for one and is there any other tips out there i might try before spending all the money on a new one. Thanks

Only correct (and legal) way is to replace the catalytic converter.

That is to clean a cat, as in trying to kill a P0420, not unclog it. And I dont care who says different lacquer thinner is a whole different animal on fuel system plastics.

When you can buy a bolt-on Magnaflow for 162 bucks plus shipping, why screw around.
