It should. I have a '95 with the spider. I think '96 was when it changed.

I found one at CarQuest for $240 plus trading in your used one. Are Reman units good brand?

Carquest is way too expensive, Amazon & eBay have BRAND NEW ones for under $200. Stay away from remanufactured ones.

Open the hood.......its under the intake manifold...you cant see it until you remove the intake.

why do you think its bad? do this...

rent a fuel pressure gauge from autozone. its free, but you have to leave the retail deposit so if you dont bring it back they dont loose anything. hook it up,check fuel pressure. if its under 55 psi at key on either it or the pumps bad. check pressure at the inlet of the fuel filter. if it is above 59ish the pumps good.if the pressure falls at the engine im sure the spiders bad. if it falls at the filter and not the engine, pumps bad.

buy only ac delco pumps...or you'll hate your life later.

Well I ain't doing nothing to it now. I am going to talk to a guy in town here this weekend to see if he planning on get rid of the blazer he have in his yard. If he do then I might try to buy it from him and use my blazer for mudding.

Well nobody down here have a fuel pressure gauge but one of my buddy up north have one. So when I go up to Florence on Friday for my mom's cancer walk I will swing by and pick it up so hopefully Saturday or Sunday I will do the test on it and write the numbers down.

Whats wrong with reman ones? Just curious. the one in my jimmy was replaced in 2010, developed a leak within the last 5 months, got it replaced (under warranty so it did not cost me a think) with another reman. are they just bad in general?
once this one starts leaking, Delco or Delphi I go, not the napa brand.

I think you just answered your own question How long did the OE one last, 7 years? Depending on when it was made, most likely it was an AC Delco.
