My son (who art in college) has a 2003 Blazer that has all the problems and more (or fewer) problems outlined in the lower ignition switch/harness. I ordered one from Amazon.com drove to Kansas and put it in (the DIY posted in this rocks). I got the new switch in and thought everything was fine. Then he started complaining of his instruments blacking out (not working) intermittently and then the truck would fire up when started, but not stay running. Again I drove to Kansas only to just have the truck start instantly for me and ran great! I got a call yesterday saying that the truck will not not start at all and that all the warning lights are lit up but the truck will not start. The tumblers are pretty clunky and the lock doesnt like to release to be able to turn the key also sometimes.

HELP!! I get tired of driving 3.5 hours each way!!
