I am having a problem..My 2002 blazer when I let off the gas to slow down it acts like the cruise control is on. I even unhooked the plug to the box where the cable is coming out of, and even unhooked the cable off the throttle. Sometimes it acts fine, recently I have put a new fuel pump in with the whole drop in including sender unit and new updated wiring harness plug end. It broke down on me and I had to tow it, but had to spray some starting fluid in it (at top of throttle body) to get it on the tow dolly...did that hurt the injection system somehow?? Please if any one knows its driving me crazy...can't figure it out! Thanks

 

Have you removed and cleaned the throttle body? Sounds like the throttle is hanging open.

 

I cleaned the throttlebody out and still acts the same. Would the IAC motor, or TPS make it act up like that? I replaced the IAC about 2 months ago but was working fine after I replaced it. This problem started right before my fuel pump went.
