Nah, just can't live somewhere with an hoa. Unless it's a city ordinance, which would be rediculous

It is not a city thing, it is a dead end street/cul de sac which is owned by the same couple. There are 15 single family homes and we are bound under the same terms and regulations... It is a nice quiet area and everyone knows everyone kinda thing. We have 2 block parties each year, 4th of July and Halloween... Except for the vehicle repair thing it is a great place too call home. We think about moving every now and then but paying $400 a month for rent on a 3 bedroom 2 full bath single car garage it is hard too walk away from it lol!!!

Where are you located that you can rent a 3/2 house for $400!!!???

Around here (DFW) you can't even rent a one bedroom apt in the hood for $400. Houses in my neighborhood are going for 1500-1700/mo for a 3/2/2. Neighborhood is well kept, but houses are from the 70s

WOW, that is high! But you live in a huge metropolitan area, Dallas Fort Worth area... I live in a small town in Northeast Kentucky. I could not afford too live where you are.

And I live a good ways south of the actual metroplex. Small town of about 30k. It gets more expensive the closer in you go.

And I might have exaggerated the rents a little. Probably closer to 1400-1500/mo for a decent 3/2/2

Waxahachie isn't too far from me. Maybe 45-60 min east.

I couldn't ever be a trucker, don't like driving that much
