Looking for center console armrest latch, 1999
This is the style of armrest lid that I need to find a latch for
The latch appears to be square and inserts into the console for the lid to snap into. All the junk yards around me have already been robbed and I can't find a part number!.
Edit: I'm starting to wonder if such a part even exists. I have found several entire center consoles for sale and none of them have any sort of latch. But my armrest lid just won't stay closed.

To elaborate, I circled what I think I'm missing. There's definitely something that goes in that square hole, which I can't find.

Oh nope. Its the flat bar latch after going out to look at mine, so its slightly different.
I have seen those consoles on ebay before though. I'm wondering if it might be easier just to start with a new console if its that design?
Or just keep a very close eye on the pick yards for new arrivals. I've done that before when looking for very small things like that

I stole that image from eBay, but it's the same design as my '99
I'll pay up to $20 if I can find the damn thing online, but I will try to keep an eye out for some new arrivals like you say. But It's already been a years worth of patience lol.
