Need help in San Diego with Camshaft Retard Offset!
Hi everyone,
Like most Vortec V6 owners, I had to replace those super quality OEM lower intake manifold gaskets that GM put in our engines. Everything is all put back together and the '01 Blazer ZR2 now runs fine. Now I just need to adjust the Camshaft Retard Offset which is an easy process.
Does anyone have a scanner capable of reading the Camshaft Retard Offset degrees that lives near San Diego or possibly Orange County California? Something like the Auto Enginuity setup with the GM package (or some equivalent equipment)
I will bring all the tools necessary (so yours wont be needed) to make this as painless and as fast as possible of a process. I'm trying to do this in a cost effective manner because what ZR2 owner likes being ripped off at the dealer or shop?...haha. I will bring you your favorite beer and/or whatever reasonable compensation to make it worth everyone's while.
Thanks for your consideration!
John
