Default Need some help

Just got a great running blazer.
my issue is, doesnt seem to go into 4wd.
3 buttons on the dash , which ever is pushed will not stay lit up. Sometimes flash a few times the no light at all. Maybe very dim.
Will this keep 4x4 from engaging ?
is it a common issue ??
Thanx in advance guys !!

It could be so many different things, vaccum lines, actuator under the battery tray, transfer case switch/motor ect...

Light flashes when pushed and then goes out (illuminating the previous status light)..... your system tried, but was unsuccessful in changing to the new mode you selected. Nothing more.

Year for your Blazer is usually given.

Please read - then ask any questions you may have. But do read it. Thanks! Yours sounds similar to #4 of 5 above.
