Need URGENT HELP PLEASE
While I was taking the plenum off the block to check out the fuel pressure regulator I dropped an aluminum nut(not magnetic) from the fuel lines down one of the wholes shown on the picture!!!!I am totally crewed I cannot see the nut I am wondering if anyone had an Idea without taking the intake out!!Pleaseeeeeee Heeeeeelp.
If anybody had the torque specs for each screw on the intake I would gladly appreciated too since that will probably be my only option.\
Also, by the looks of the surface it seems like the FPR or the injectors aren't leaking right?
I blew air through the gas return line and it seemed like the check valve on the fuel pump is broken because I had no resistance at all!!!Thanks for all the help!!!

Try a solid type piece of wire with a "loop" at the end. Place sticky duct tape through the loop so that the sticky side if outwards.
This seems to happen to alot of 4.3 mechanics... good luck.

Since the ports cross over to the opposite side of the engine from where they start, I'd say you'd have good luck trying the loop of wire w/ duct tape.
BTW, good luck getting those fuel lines back in there properly... They are definitely not meant to be bent around like that.

After hours of trying to grab the stupid nut I was able to get it. I went to homedepot and rented this tool that is like a little camera and I went in there to look for it and I could just see it right at the valves then i used I wire that my friend had that has like a little hand on it and after bouncing the nut around for a while I was able to get it!!!Man I was so happy!!!Thanks to all for the help!!

An inspection camera is on my list of tools to get. I have used them in the past and they are life savers!
