Newbie first post- where can I find RHD ignition switch?

Do you need the whole lock or just the key insert?

Need to find out what the difference is between the RHD and LHD steering columns. Might be that they are the same.
can you post a pic of what exactly you need?

This is what im after except the bit that goes into the switch is in the middle and i need one that is off to the side. Just so im being clear my vechile is rhd, auto and the shifter is on the floor not on the column if that makes a difference.

I'm browsing a Rock Auto website just advised here. Probably You may get the part at a decent price:

Welcome!

When looking for parts, I'll sometimes check the part numbers to see if they are the same or not. The US GM parts web sites are normally pretty good for that. You might find that the RHD and LHD lock cylinders parts are the same.

same thought as Mike.308

Small parts should ship at reasonable prices.

I'd try looking into rockauto and compare to the same year of GM's different models.

Try looking for U.S. or Canada built cars. Once you figure out which cars used the same steering locks you may be able to broaden the search in the U.K. to find a spare or pick one in a scrap-yard.
