Default No spark help please

Buddies blazer...97 4.3 4x4 I believe its edi. Died while he was driving it tested for fuel and spark. Shot some fuel in the intake and nothing. Took the coil wire off and no spark. I tested the pink wire and got no voltage. Now behind my back he bought a crank sensor and new coil and it still didnt start pretty crazy huh lol. Anyway is there a fuse or circuit I need to check next or is it the pcm??? Thanks you guys

If your not getting 12 volts on the pink wire with the ignition on and the meter grounded then check the ECM IGN Fuse 10

All fuses are good still no power. I did just notice the instrument panel is not working with the ignition on or while cranking it. The only thing left it could be is the ignition switch right/?? Come on all these views and no replies.

Read this, it might help.

PS, 97 ignition switch has history of crapping out.

Well I tapped on the ignition switch 20 times the 21st time the gauge cluster came on and I knew at the point it would start and it did !!! I will read the article you posted thank you. One last thing the voltage is maxed out I think at 16 volts is the regulator built into the computer or is it in the alt?

No boo's from the search function lovers. I find the google box on the homepage to be much more helpful. I typed in "cluster dead no start" and that was the first bf article that came.
bb sorry I couldn't have done it faster but I was busy with a blown brake line....fixed
