Nylon fuel line sets
Fuel leak in the metal lines on the frame over the tank. One line is leaking and the others look ready to leak. I really don't want to thread steel lines through there.
I found a kit online, that comes with quick-connect fittings to match, and a new fuel filter with fittings to accept the quick-connect fitting. Has anyone used one of these? I can't find any posts here about them. This 97' 4wd is very rusty underneath. The brake lines rusted through last year, so I replaced those already. Now I'm going to look closer at the tank. It wasn't a terrible job to get it out, but I don't want to do it again right away. I need this rig running. We need to go fishing. |
