I thought it was at first for I've hooked several ODBII scanners to it and they cannot communicate, including my Mac Tools ET-50, some cheap ODBII scanner my dad has, and a Actron ODBII scanner and non can pull a code, however the my buddy's canner which is both ODBI and ODB II can pull the codes no problem.

The running rich issue, I actually have the same problem with mine, its been that way ever since I've had it and it has a erratic idle, but she runs perfect and passes emissions every time lol

thanks reelbroke2,,tonight i just had the thing die on me
and i hadnt gone 2 blocks after it sitting for 2 and a half hours.
it wouldnt crank back up for crap,,i was pulling on plugs and wires
hoping to get lucky and when i pulled the wire off the coil and
put it back on it fired right up,not sure if it was coincedence or if i
found something there, will find out tomorrow,,it drove all the way home
just fine but then it drove to where i went without a problem too,,so
guess its gonna be one of those problems that have to just go bad before i can
find it.

This sounds just like my 95 Jimmy. Runs rich, idles like crap, that top end noise you were talking about. I'll have to keep an eye on this to see what the problem(s) may be.

ya,,have had this for a while now,,just havent had extra$$ to
break into it and see,,,not sure if that tapping in the top
would cause a miss,,ive had other cars that had the same and didnt
run ruff like that and rich,,almost seems like a fowl out or spark miss
but i changed all plugs wires, spider and nut kit,,also fuel pump.
only thing i havent changed along both those lines is the fuel filter.
anyway ill post as i get a chance to fix,,,,lol.
thanks for all the help everyone,,,,,

rowe.
