I have a 2005 Trailblazer LS that my wife absolutely loves. It has has 202,000 miles on it right now thanks in a large part to this forum!

The issue now is an occasional rough idle and sluggishness/hesitation. it has been doing it for about 2 months in total. It got so bad a few weeks ago that it was actually missing. That ended up being the #2 coil pack. I changed it and ALL 6 plugs. It ran good for about 2 days and then the symptoms came back. Autozone gave me the following codes: P0130 - Oxygen sensor, P0410 - Secondary air injection fault.

The truck can run great for quite awhile even at highway speeds, but the it can start hesitating and idling rough, and then go back to being fine for awhile. Wierd...

I checked the fuel pressure with the previous issue and it was right in line with specs. I can't remember the reading now. I also got a low coolant temp back then, but have not seen that again.

What is the 8th character of the VIN?

 

It is an S.

I should have mentioned it is a 4x4 with the 4.2L engine.
