Default oem fog light switch wiring

Ok, so heres the details.
2000 blazer without stock fogs
got an oem switch with the stock fog switch
know that to wire it in the stock way you need to play around with the bcm.
Im putting on aftermarket fogs on the bush bar.
So basically quick question to make things go a little smoother, what are the wires that come off the back of the fog light switch? (ground, illum?..etc). I plan on just wiring them into the relay for the aftermarket fogs...if possible, and if anyone has done this how much fun was it?

The factory fog light switch is just a momentary switch. You would need to use a latching relay inorder to use the switch like you propose.

Ok. Just figured I would mention it before you got too far in.

See the attached connector view:

I have the exact same thing. No factory fogs, but bought a panel with the switch, and fogs on my bushguard that need wiring. I'm to lazy to take my dash apart again though...

ya mine all came from a fried riostat (i have no idea how you spell it). dash takes no time to take apart to get to it, but when i put it in i picked up the switch from a junker and took the wiring plug for it as well, so i saudered in some longer wires and have them lieing empty down by the floor so i dont have to take the dash apart again.....im just way to lazy to run the wires through the firewall...so this could turn in to a several month project. haha
