My oil cooler line to the engine is leaking also. I have ramps but no lift. How hard do you think it will be to do the repair using the ramps?
Any hints on replacing them.
thanks,

RE: oil cooler lines
Did you go with OEM replacements or something else?
Wish I had a lift in my garage.

RE: oil cooler lines
Reason I ask. I have heard of guys replacing the OEM stuff with regular fittings. They split the metal pressed clamp fitting on the OEM hoses, peel it back and pull out the OEM fitting. Basically taking the fitting off without cutting the hose. Then slide the OEM hose over regular barb fitting and using pipe clamps to hold it in place.

RE: oil cooler lines
i eliminated the oil cooler all together i have a 96 4wd an d i bought the nipple for the 2wd that goes where the cooler does off the block so now i just put my filter where the cooler went. i have to use a shorter filter now and its a lil harder to change but i dont have to use that damn oil cooler and all its leaky lines plus when i changed the engine they said id have to get a whole new oil cooling system because u cant flush all the contaminent out of the old one enough to ensure u wont damage the new engine with old crap
