Oil Pressue at 3/4 for like a half an hour to an hour
Lately, when I go out and start my Blazer up, the oil pressure seems to be riding at the 3/4 mark. It normally rides at the 1/2 mark. So its a little more high pressure then I thought. Could that have something to do with the oil line still leaking? Or is that pressure characteristic normal for a cold weather climate. Its like 20F or -10C here these days. I have 5W30 going through a liter of oil every couple days. Its too cold out to do the oil line fix, or I am probably just procrastinating. I looked under my rig, its my damn engine block to filter line. How the heck am I suppose to get at the block line?

my blazer has increased oil pressure when started in the cold too almost every vehicle I have owned was the same ,nothing I would worry about as for your oil leak what I would do is cut an inch or two at the leak get 2 high pressure fuel clamps and a piece of fuel line.. The clamps will not loosen and you would be fine until the warmer weather, it will hold up for as long as you want it to
