My SES light popped back on, but thanks to my wifes Kia I know have my own code reader and don't have to rely on AutoZone Idiots.. I mean "technicians" to tell me what codes I have.

It popped out with 4 codes.. 1 of which i have done fixed but must of been stored. One which was pending.

P0102 - MAF or VAF A low Circuit Input
P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire - Fixed this by changing plugs, coil, wires etc. then borrowed new MAF sensor off buddy (mine was garbage). Light turned off, but the code was stored.
P0440 - EVAP Emissions System Malfunction
P0440 (p/d) - EVAP Emissions System Malfunction

Yeah I know, that p0440 code is there twice, the reader gave it to me twice, the second one had pd by it which means pending according to the book. I disregard the random misfire, thats been fixed for awhile now. So are the other 2 codes related to each other? I figure the p0102 code is because I forgot to plug my maf in before turning the truck on, which threw that code out there. What about the Emissions code? What are some possibilities for that one?

My wifes kia had the same p0440 code, before I got my reader, she asked the guy at Autozone what was it and he told her "It's just a loose gas cap. Tighten it up and after your next fill-up the light will shut off" BUT the problem with that was I KNOW for a fact, without a shadow of doubt, that her gas cap WAS tight since I was the last one to fill her car up. I dumped some Gumout into her tank the other day, and today her light shut off. So that is what makes me wonder if it could be my fuel pump or filter, maybe a clogged/dirty injector?
